West Palm Beach, FL - "Juan came to us asking for help", Jack says. He, Juan is not getting any younger and not able to do hard work. He bakes some really good bread like that from Guatemala, it is very rich. He wanted something to sell the bread from.
Rigo and I found a totally rusted out tricycle in the back yard. The wheels were all rusted and there was not a single part other than the frame that were worthwhile. I took it to Mr. Earl Murray at the South Tech Vocational heademy where he had his students clean off the rust down to the steel and prep it for painting. Then it was painted and sealed. I broght it back to the shop where Rigo completed the tricycle making it better, stronger and more realistic. Now Juan can attach a box to the platform on the back to go out into the neighborhood to sell his home made bread.
This is a great example of partnering to help those who really deserve help. The Students at South Tech were aware that the work they were doing was for a children's bicycle charity. They did a especially good job on the tricyucle and got it ready very fast.
